Many consider the kitchen to be the heart of the home, and it’s often everyone’s favorite place to meet and hang out. But these pictures prove certain kitchen designs can turn the best room in the house into the absolute worst.

Compact living is indeed a thing in big cities these days, but this is taking that concept way too far. Unexpected design solutions for small spaces is usually great, but placing a toilet inches under the counter where you cut your veggies and prepare dinner is just beyond unhygienic.
We’re not sure who designed this space, or who is agreeing to live there and pay rent, but we hope they decide to renovate and move this toilet before someone gets salmonella.
